Artist's Comments

If you ask about my time period of leaving for some time, I'll completely ignore it.
Here. I'll explain. Ya see. My history teacher assigned us a homework a few days ago. He said that we'd be needing the internet for a handful of the questions. So, as a nerd, I did as told. Of course, DA happened to be my homepage, so I decided to take a peek of what was going on.
I drew this in my notebook during study hall today. I scanned it, and sketched it over with Photoshop. This is the last deviation I'll be submitting for some time.

Oh, and on a side note... I've decided to transfer to a new account after I come back and finish :iconprincess-althenia:'s gift. I don't feel right if I draw her something on a different account and she can't find it. So, after I'm done with that.... Poof! Bye-bye, Brayissimo.

I've already decided on my new account name, and it's not very similar to this one. Shorter, that's a certain.

Anyways, I've been drawing Gryphon quite often lately. I've been doodling new styles, new eyes, goggles, scarves... This is just a practice sketch. I did this within ten minutes. I changed the way he looked so that it would fit my drawing techniques a bit more. I must say - I'm quite satisfied. Of course, this is only the first step of about a hundred in making a character myself. I didn't want to outdo myself too much, so it's best if I take little bite-sized pieces of this whole project.
Erm... I was about to say something... But I don't remember what.... Ah, never mind.

See you for now...

This is indeed very good! The perspective is great, but what really catches my eyes is the expression, and the eyes in particular. Great job. (:

Smile! It scares people.
